X700 INSTALLATION OF A MILLIAMPEREMETER

I have been wanting to install a milliamperemeter in my lasercutter/engraver for some time. The reason for this is that i haven’t been able to make the lasertubes last as long as they are advertised. I recently  purchased a Reci 100W tube, and this time i want it to last as long as possible. Here is a link to the tube i ordered. LASERCUT DIFFUSER-BOX

I needed a better place to take pictures of stuff that i make, so that the quality is improved. And what better way to do this than to build a light/diffuser-box. For the light source i used two low-energy lamps, 28Watts and 230 volts:   For the frame i used 6mm Baltic birch-plywood with great quality that i got from Ebay from the seller cherokeewoodproducts. I can highly recommend purchasing from this seller as the quality is...

LASERCUT MAP OF BERGEN

I have always loved the look of lasercut maps, so ofcource when i got my own lasercutter i had to make one of my hometown Bergen, Norway. The map is made up of 2 layers frosted acrylic. Bottom layer is the outline of land. Top layer is the roads. The cavity represents water. It is a very tidious process of tracing a map to get the dxf file that is needed to lasercut. You can see in the gallery to the left what i used as a reference....
