X700 INSTALLATION OF A MILLIAMPEREMETER

I have been wanting to install a milliamperemeter in my lasercutter/engraver for some time. The reason for this is that i haven’t been able to make the lasertubes last as long as they are advertised. I recently  purchased a Reci 100W tube, and this time i want it to last as long as possible. Here is a link to the tube i ordered. The life span can reach 10,000 hours if the current is kept below 26mA. Here is the analogue...

DIY POKEMON POKEBALL

My son really wanted a pokeball for his 11th birthday so i decided to make one for him. I had a switch lying around that would be perfect for this project so i designed the ball around that. First i designed the pokeball in 3Ds Max Then i printed it with the Formlabs Form 2 3D printer After removing the support material, i sanded the 2 pieces pretty smooth. FORM 1+ LARGE MIRROR CHANGE

Recently i had some trouble with my Form 1+ 3D printer, and i had to send it to England for repair. It turned out to be a defective laser. I contacted cnccheap where i originally ordered the machine, and they where very fast to respond (the same day!!). for $100 they sent me 2 sets of white wheels and spare lense...

LASERCUT DIFFUSER-BOX

I needed a better place to take pictures of stuff that i make, so that the quality is improved. And what better way to do this than to build a light/diffuser-box. For the light source i used two low-energy lamps, 28Watts and 230 volts:   For the frame i used 6mm Baltic birch-plywood with great quality that i got from Ebay from the seller cherokeewoodproducts. I can highly recommend purchasing from this seller as the quality is...

HOW TO: KILL BILL MARBLE COASTER

You start with a couple of “blank” marble tiles. I chose white ones: Then spraypaint them both black: I designed the silouette in 3Ds Max and exported it as a DXF file. I used the file on a vinyl-cutter. Download DXF file here You could probably create the silouette using an x-acto knife if you dont have access to a vinyl-cutter. Then you carefully apply the vinyl to the marble tiles: Now all you have to do is spraypaint...
